How does the hybrid model protect privacy?
In local mode, speech-to-text runs entirely on your Mac via Apple Silicon MLX; audio data never touches any server. In Pro Cloud mode, audio and text are processed in transit via enterprise-grade Cloud AI APIs with zero retention for model training.
What payment methods are supported?

How do I activate the Pro license after purchase?
Immediately upon checkout, your license key appears on screen and is delivered to your email. Open Tacit on your Mac, navigate to Preferences → Account & License, and paste your key.
Can I transfer my license to a new Mac?
Yes. A Lifetime license covers up to 3 personal Macs. If you upgrade to a new computer, simply deactivate the license in Tacit settings or use our key recovery tool.
